The launch of the Froncysllte Choir’s second album, Voices of the Valley – Encore, was held at the Bryn Howel Hotel, Llangollen on 19th November, where they gave a free community concert.

THE world’s oldest boy band is already Number Five in the Amazon pre-release charts, the album is tipped to make platinum and dominate the UK Classical Charts in the Christmas run-up.

Last year the choir landed a lucrative recording deal with the world’s leading record company, the Universal Music Group and their first CD album, Voices of the Valley, was a runaway success with soaring sales.

The Bryn Howel was absolutely delighted to be asked to host the high-profile launch, re-establishing the hotel as one of the highest quality establishments in North Wales.

But the album launch was not the only main event on the day as the choir took a step closer to Hollywood stardom.

Choir members met with Bafta award winning scriptwriter Debbie Isitt, who will pen the plot for a blockbuster movie featuring the boys for the first time.

Debbie was commissioned by Lionsgate Films to write the script for the Fron Choir movie. She also wrote and produced the Hollywood blockbuster Confetti.
